Gensis

PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya NO3 AFS , Air Force Station, Makarpura, Vadodara was established in the year 1986. It is recognized as one of the best Vidyalayas in the educational world for its progressive approach to education.

The school is located near Airforce Station,Makarpura in a peaceful and exclusive environment. Kendriya Vidyalaya AFS is affiliated to CBSE, the largest educational board in the country. The Vidyalaya is run under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education).

The Vidyalaya has classes I to XII. Class XI-XII have Science and Commerce stream.

The endeavour of the school is to develop the all-round personality of the students and inculcate in them a sense of responsibility towards their lives. Our aim is to develop such qualities in the students that make them well-behaved, well-cultured, self-confident, honest, dutiful and cooperative. Active participation of parents is required for the all-round development of the students and the school.

This vidyalaya works under the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Regional office Ahmedabad. At present 1698 students are enrolled in the vidyalaya.
